Streamlined Process for Prospective Grand and Petit Jurors
Enhanced Convenience and Transparency
The DC Superior Court has unveiled a new interactive Juror Services webpage, offering District residents a streamlined and user-friendly experience when it comes to grand and petit jury service. The webpage provides comprehensive information and tools to enhance convenience and transparency throughout the juror process.
Prospective jurors can now conveniently view the last date of service, complete the juror questionnaire form online, and look up information on juror services using the new webpage. The automated phone system has also been updated to provide a seamless experience for jurors, allowing them to easily punch in their nine-digit number located on their summons for the latest updates.
For employed individuals who need to request a deferral, the webpage provides direct links to the necessary forms, which can be completed online or faxed to the Juror Office. This feature allows jurors to manage their jury service obligations while balancing their work responsibilities.
The new Juror Services webpage is part of the DC Superior Court's ongoing commitment to improving juror services and ensuring that all qualified individuals have the opportunity to serve on grand and petit juries. The webpage is accessible to all prospective jurors, providing a convenient and accessible way to navigate the jury service process.
